Great question, I’ve been looking into consciousness apart from a philosophical and psychological perspective into a Quantum physics and neuroscience perspective. Right now some quantum fellows are looking at consciousness from a mathematical perspective the same way they look at randomness, pattern and chance. We want to know how the "choosing" process works, consciousness chooses from trillions of possibilities, we already know its a self-programming program. But whats it made out of and predicting consciousness from a mathematical perspective is challenging, check out Quantum Consciousness. All energy is information (energy in- formation a certain order or pattern) information is present within thought, and thought is consciousness. So I can well say that everything is consciousness.
